Heh, no. The idea of Wesley leaving has been of interest to me for a while. I love fics that use that as a premise. I talked about it in an earlier post, and dawnie1970 suggested I do a ficathon. Et voila!

Oh, awesome. There are probably at least a dozen of this kind of fics that exist in my head!

Great idea! I am very picky about which ficathons I'll sign up for, but this is too awesome to pass up. Now I just have to decide if I go with a fic I've been wanting to see for forever, or my favorite pairing. *lip trembles with the effort to decide*

Okay, I guess I'll ask a question before I actually sign up. Can I list both my fic options and then you can assign whichever is easiest to match, or you can give someone both the assignments and then they can choose which one they'd prefer? Hope that's not so specific that whoever gets my assignment has a hard time writing it. Feel free to bend the requirements a little, or go in an odd direction with it. :)

i think i would have preferred if a ficathon like this were to be applied for using email 'cos then we wouldn't know what every body else wanted to get, and the element of surprise might be higher.

now, i like wesley a lot and it's sad that i know of only one story that i liked that's done this idea, which is i think jintian's fic about wesley taking connor before he was named and raising him as his son.
